Astrid Parker Doesn’t Fail (review)

KatieRead

“Astrid Parker Doesn’t Fail” is written by Ashley Herring Blake who also wrote “Delilah Green Doesn’t Care”. “Astrid Park Doesn’t Fail” could be a standalone read however the book does have connections to the first book called “Delilah Green Doesn’t Care”. This book is also listed as “Bright Falls #2” which is connected to the book “Delilah Green Doesn’t Care”. Ashley Herring Blake’s book is under the category of romance, LGBTQ+, lesbian, queer, wlw, enemies to lovers and adult. Somethings I enjoyed about reading this book was the relationship development throughout the story between Astrid and Jordan. I also really liked seeing the development from Astrid compared to the first book and the second. Astrid is now independent and working on standing up for herself. Jordan and Astrid are complete opposites and somehow seem to attract each other and help one another to see different point of views and ideas. I normally don’t reach out for the romance category however I surprisingly enjoyed Ashley’s first book so I thought giving “Astrid Parker Doesn’t Care” a try too. Overall I would give Ashley Herring Blake’s book a total of 4 stars.

Rating: 4 out of 5.
