Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun by Elle Cosimano is under the category of mystery, thriller, romance, humorous and cozy reads. This book is the third of the series. The first book is “Finlay Donovan is killing it”, the second book is “Finlay Donovan knocks em’ dead” and the final book is “Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun”. The story is about Finlay a single mother who has been in murderous situations before with her partner in crime but also nanny, Vero. The two women come encounter with a dangerous mob and must find the mysterious killer or else there will be serious consequences. This book is not my usual choice to read however it is more on the comical side of the mystery genre however the story was overall very entertaining to read. I would give Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun a total of 4 stars.
