No One Needs to Know written by Lindsay Cameron is under the category of Thriller, Mystery, Fiction, Suspense and Young Adult. The main characters are Heather, an anxious mother willing to do anything for her daughters success. Norah, the successful business woman struggling to balance work and her family. Poppy, the perfect Upper East Side woman who has her share of secrets. The book is about an anonymous app called UrbanMyth. UrbanMyth is used by New York’s wealthiest neighbourhood located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The purpose of the app is to anonymously confess their darkest secrets and their true opinions. UrbanMyth goes smoothly without any anonymous confession leaked until a hacker makes every posts linked to the poster’s real identity. The users are majority of the parents of a prestegous boarding school. While identities are leaked someone will end up dead. Drama unfolds, secrets revealed and no one is truly innocent. I would overall give No One Needs to Know a total of 5 stars. I really enjoyed seeing what goes on behind Heather, Poppy and Norah’s life, how to app shows peoples true identities and the suspense throughout the novel.
