Tokyo Ghoul written by Sui Ishida is a 14 book series. Tokyo Ghoul is under the category of Manga, Horror, Fantasy and Paranormal. I have read the first of 14 books. The story starts with a human college student named Ken Kaneki, he is an ordinary college student who is polite and kind. In Tokyo there are Ghouls who coexist with humans. The ghouls need to eat human flesh in order to survive. Ken Kaneki comes face to face with a ghoul and to his misfortune turns into half ghoul and half human. Throughout the first book we see how Ken Kaneki comes to terms with his new life and meets many different people along the way. The series is filled with plot twists and is a really interesting story line to follow. I would give Tokyo Ghoul Book One a total of 5 stars.
